Green roofing system is innovative step in the path of infrastructure sustainability, India is fast growing population therefore in modern society going beyond the ecologically sustainable system and natural conventional green method of construction due to present need of per capita area consumption that leads global and local warming both, whether green roofing system controls all season temperature variation as well as improve green rating of building. This study based on UHI (Urban heat island effect) of 8-layer green roofing by using locally available waste, it consists experimental study of temperature variation of outdoor as well as indoor in July-August (summer to rainy) found temperature drop of -5 0C at outdoor and -2 0C at indoor, and cost analysis for 100ft2 area
