This paper tries to answer the question- why
is English pronunciation so much of a problem for non-
native English learners? It also tries to point out and to
account for some reasons of intricacies and suggests
some particular strategies for coping with them. It has
its pedagogical implications both for higher secondary
as well as the beginners of the bachelor level students.
With due consideration of the related books and basing
on own teaching experience, the paper has come to be in
this form.
