Energy conservation has become a hot topic at the present time as the rate of energy consumption is continuously increasing. The energy sources are depleting at a very fast rate and soon there is going to be a shortage of energy sources. The smart cities need to understand the importance of energy conservation and this research work is focused on introducing the energy conservation systems in the smart cities. The smart cities need to adopt some of the systems managing and controlling the energy consumption. People can contribute to the environment by conserving energy.
