The role of education in the new normal era, transforming undergoes various changes, one of which is the role and leadership of the principal is required to conform to the demands of the new normal era. The purpose of this research is to find out the leadership style of the principal in the face of the new normal era in the perspective of Education management. This research uses qualitative research methods with phenomenological approaches. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and research documentation. Meanwhile, the research speakers are 6 principals and 1 supervisor at a private school in Kendari. The results illustrate that the leadership style of the principal who is democratic following the change, various knowledge and skills of the principal in the new normal era needs to be strengthened especially in the skills using technology and competence in entrepreneurship.
