The field of dentistry has been moving towards developing therapies that will positively influence the ‘Quality of Life’ of the patient. Various parameters have been developed to assess the Oral Health-Related Quality of Life, and the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP) is one among them. In the present article we will review OHIP and also its application in periodontics and oral implantology.
