Blockchain technology has emerged as one of the major disruptive innovations in last decade. Beginning from Bitcoin, the technology shows potential to be applicable in a wide range of fields and industries. This research work has been designed as an exploratory study based on quantitative design. The study seeks to examine the role of blockchain technology in enhancing security of storage of data from different sources. The study conducted a survey to gather empirical evidence and shows the level of security that blockchain can provide in storage and security of information from different sources.
