Indonesia is considered to be a consumer of
high levels of petroleum use and emissions control in the
transportation sector. Further action needs to be taken
to reduce the carbon intensity generated from the
transportation sector, in the next 10 years there will be a
multiplied increase. With the increase in urbanization,
climate change and the increasing utilization of fuel
consumption in the transportation sector in Indonesia,
it provides a warning and a good opportunity to address
issues related to exhaust gases from combustion
products in the transportation sector. The formation of
a good policy to overcome this needs to start from the
formation of policies that discuss the problem of
pollutants and greenhouse gases that can provide
positive aspects for increasing efficiency and economic
incentives of the country. Decisive policies need to be
taken to reduce pollutants and global warming that is
happening now and continues to increase with the
development of the times.
